ammonite nautilus

Fossil pricing depends on so many factors that it’s hard to tell you exactly what price you would pay for such a large specimen. It depends on the quality and preservation of the piece. Size definitely figures into the equation, but, in my opinion, the qualities that make the fossil unique from other Ammonites determine the price. In other words, it’s hard to say, but I wouldn’t expect an Ammonite of that size to come cheap.
